Reading - Developing Inference (Primary)

Rationale

Understanding inference is seen as a higher order thinking skill and therefore one that many of our children struggle to comprehend. Teaching inference throughout the primary curriculum and across all age ranges, will enable pupils to confidently tackle the demands of the KS2 reading curriculum.
