Entering your NQT year is an exciting experience. This training session is part of a suite of courses designed for Primary NQTs (currently in their first year after NQT Induction). They cover an essential range of areas enabling NQTs to increase their knowledge, skills and understanding and strive to be an Outstanding teacher.  They include Joint Practice Development Networking focussing on all the Teachers’ Standards, reflecting and sharing best practice. All areas covered are immediately applicable to classroom practice and raising attainment. All sessions will be facilitated by experienced teaching professionals including Specialists Leaders of Education and National Leaders of Education.

The following will be explored during The Art of Effective Questioning:

• Ensuring inclusion and Engagement through appropriate and high Challenge, maximising progress and Impact
• How to use Questioning as an effective method to enhance progress and develop pupil ownership of Learning
• Deepening Thinking, and Role-Modelling learning processes and behaviours for Impact
• Providing stretch and challenge for all
