Target Audience
For Secondary teachers in their 3^rd year of teaching onwards (2 years after NQT Induction) who are aspiring to a leadership position, or are new to leadership

About the Programme 
Delegates will work together to consolidate what Great teaching is and explore how to become an expert practitioner in the classroom, through Reflection, Impact, and Risk!  They will explore ‘leading learning’ (including Growth and Fixed Mindset) and how to take others with them through inspiration, vision and values.  They will consider pathways to future success; Emotional Intelligence, including overcoming obstacles and motivating others through effective leadership.  The following will be explored:

• Great teaching
• Different ways of using Research, Observation and Monitoring Strategies to enhance Teaching & Leadership;
• What does Inspirational Leadership look like?
• Growth and Fixed Mindset
• Vision and Leadership
• Emotional Intelligence – working with others and overcoming barriers
• Supporting and developing others through Coaching

Coach
Schools will choose a coach for each delegate who will help to guide them through the post-sessional challenges. The coach will assist the delegate with organisational and practical elements of the programme and support the development of a medium term Action Plan.
